Thanksgiving Day Treat

sticky - this will remain on top until December 9th
I have picked a day between November 18th and December 9th. The day that I have picked I will have random.org pick a number out of the comments left and that person will win the blog candy I am giving away to celebrate reaching 20,000 hits. The thing you don't know is which day between now and then that I've picked, so it's best to come by every day and leave a comment. (if you are joining in late you need to go back to November 18th to start leaving comments)
If you have a blog let your readers know about my blog candy too! Wanna see what the blog candy is?

I've already added more to this than shows in the picture including a few of the images Chesney has drawn for Squigglefly!

Well I wasn't planning on posting anything today since it's Thanksgiving and all, but I decided to share with you something that you may have already seen on Splitcoast Stampers. It dawned on me that I hadn't shared it on my blog.
Saturday Lauren Meador's Saturday Sketch was to use her stocking stuffer template. I made the stocking into an ice skate by adding a giant paper clip to the bottom!

I punched holes on both sides and put in eyelets and used a silver cord to lace it up! The heel and toe are navy blue that I stamped white snowflakes on. It really was a fast and easy project thanks to all the hard work Lauren put into making the template!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a cute skate & a great idea! I can even see these hanging from little scrap fabric pieces on a long piece of twine - like a garland -- too cool!
