It'll Be Okay

Today is card give away day, so if you would like to win this card along with a matching envelope so you can send it to someone (or keep it for yourself if ya want!), just leave a comment on this post by noon tomorrow and I'll have pick a number for a winner.

Yesterday Martha asked in the comments if I knew of any more sites that have digital images for sale. See Pam, she gave the free download at squigglefly a try and now she's in love with digital images! LOL! They really are so versatile. I am aware of several places that sell digital images. Some of them sell regular rubber stamps and digital papers and embellishments as well. Here are some you may like.
Pollycraft Designs
Pink Petticoat
All That Scraps
Daisie Company
Fred She Said
Sketching Stamper
The Greeting Farm
And my personal favorite is of course

I started out trying to do Lauren's Saturday Sketch but I got stumped on the two circle pieces. I think my two flowers might be cheating a bit for the sketch.

This is one of the very first images my sister drew for Squigglefly, and it's one I've loved but have never colored! I finally remedied that! It was so fun to color too. I used copic markers and chalked the background. The flowers are some of the shimmery bridal flowers from Michales and they are also colored with copic markers. The leaves are flower petals torn apart.
I just wanted to tell this sweet, sad little girl that "It'll be okay", so that's why I titled my post that way! LOL! I was going to put some kind of sentiment at the top on the left, but I decided that since this is a card going to someone, I'll let the winner tell me if they want a sentiment and I'll add it then. How many chances do you get to have a card that personalized?!
So don't forget to leave a comment to win the card! Thanks for stopping by!

Adorable card.....I just recently got into the digital stamps, but I have a problem with them smearing. Any way to stop it? I have an inkjet printer.

WOW - I opened your blog and saw MARTHA (could she mean Martha me?) YES it was - an answer to my question from YESTERDAY - Now that was a fast response. Thank you so much Holly. Will check out all your links and add another for you that I found - victoria case designs. I don't know how to like to it but you can Google it. Thanks again.
Now what about Crystal's question on the ink smearing. I use Copics and I think the alcohol is reacting with the ink. For traditional rubber stamping I always emboss but what to do with printer ink. Any suggestions?

Very sweet card, Holly. I would love to win it, as I have a little girl in mind to give it to.
I enjoy your blog every day.
Thanks for being so faithful with your creative posts. I have learned many tips from reading you.
And I'm VERY jealous that it's Spring for you already. We're still in the thick of Winter.

How adorable! All 3 of my kids did this very thing and had that same look on their faces! Just a rite of passage, I guess! I love the colors you used...still can't compare my coloring to yours!

Crystal may need to try the tip you gave me...heat set it before coloring it. It really helped me, and I also try to be very careful when coloring around the outline. They are SO much fun and really offer an original look!

Cute, cute, cute!!!!!! Hope I win this week :)
I downloaded the hummingbird freebie yesterday and had no problems with it smearing when I went to colour it...but I did leave it for about 15 mins before I started to colour. It's also possible that the type of paper used is contributing to the problem...and maybe even the brand of printer ink???? What would I know...I'm a newbie!!!!!
