Happy April Fool's Day! Don't let anyone pull any tricks on you today! I loved hearing about Freida's little trick that backfired yesterday. How funny! It really makes for a fun story to tell your daughter though. None of you have guessed what my favorite greeting on the mouse card will be, and I'm sure one of you could guess it if you really tried. I really got a laugh out of Crystal's remark though! LOL! I haven't quite finished it yet, but I'll show it to you in a couple of days.
Well the day has finally arrived, and it's here! The Squigglefly blog hop has begun! If you have landed here first, you'll want to go to the beginning by visiting Anita's blog. Everyone in the hop has some great prizes up for grabs. I'm giving away a set of 12 assorted colors of flock, a new Inksentials white gel pen, and a small tin of assorted embellishments.
To be in the running for the prizes you will need to leave a comment and post about the blog hop on your blog. If you don't have a blog, just tell a few friends! The blog hop will last until Sunday April 5th.
I'm excited to show you today's card because it uses a brand new, just released image from Squigglefly.

I love the retro look to the background. I colored the image with copic markers and added stickles to the background circles. The words were computer generated in a font called Victor Moscoso. You can get it for free here. I used the new nestabilities blossom die to cut the words out and then just hand cut around the green to mat it.
The designer paper is from Stampin Up. Then I was at Michael's with a friend and found some ribbon that matches the card so perfectly that I had to tie some of it on. I'm not sure I would have used the designer paper if I had had the ribbon first, but here's how it looks with the ribbon on.
Is it too busy now? I just had to use the ribbon though because it matches my circles!
Okay, your next stop in the hop is Karin's blog! Good luck to you, and be sure to come back tomorrow to see another brand new image from Squigglefly! Thanks for looking!
