Did you see the news that the Shy Bears are coming to Squigglefly? I'm so excited about that! I just think they are some of the cutest things! If you go comment on this post you may be the lucky winner of five Shy Bear images!
I'm really glad it's Friday and that the weekend is upon us because I haven't been in my craft room much this week at all and I need some time to play!
I did make a card with the Old Barn image from Squigglefly. I've had it colored for a while, but hadn't made anything with it. When I finally did have time to do something with it I was kind of at a loss.
As I was playing around with different layouts and cardstocks at one point it reminded me of an old photograph so I dug out some old fashioned looking photo corners to give it that appearance.
Then I wanted a quotation or sentiment of some kind so I started googling the internet for different quotations. I finally found one I liked by Grandma Moses. I printed a portion of the quote on my computer and here is the resulting card.

Just in case you can't read the quotation it says
History is recorded in our brains and paints pictures of the past.
These are the copics I used to color along with chalks.

I keep feeling like there is something about tomorrow I'm supposed to remember, but I can't think of what it could be. It's like I have that date on my mind for some reason, but it's eluding me. If you know what it is please clue me in because I don't want to miss out! LOL!
Well, enjoy your day today, and thanks for stopping by today.

Oh Holly..now THIS is a beautiful card! My husband would LOVE it!!! Every year we go for a Fall foliage drive, he takes the most pictures where there is an old barn in it. I think this rates as one of my all time favorites...Great job =)
Holly this card is absolutely awesome...The coloring is so beautiful...I really like this card. The sentiment is perfect for the card and I love the corners...really "sets" the card. Wonderful job kiddo! This has been a really crazy week for me too with going back to work after being off two weeks...not much creating time for me either. Hope to spend some time this weekend too. Have a wonderful day Holly!

Holly I love the barn. It reminds me of where I grew up. Memories of a child seem to get better with years.
This is a lovely card Holly. I always love your coloring but what you did with the mountains is spectacular. Do you give lessons?
I love your card Holly! That image is just stunning! It brings back my childhood-as we grew up on a farm! I am sorry I can't help out with what you are forgetting about tomorrow!
