Blogging For Two

Hi everyone! Bet my post title caught your attention didn't it? LOL! No, I'm not pregnant, but my dear friend Freida from Mississippi made the cutest card and since she doesn't have a blog, I asked her if I could share it with all of you on my blog! It's just too cute and funny not to be shared!

Here's the front of her card

I love the pot on the porch with the vine growing up over the window!

and here's the inside

Don't you just love it? It's so creative and there are so many wonderful touches that make it extra special. She used the Happy To Bee Me image from Squigglefly and created little ghost costumes for them to wear! Squigglefly's free Wicked Witch image was also used. I love how she's framed it and made it a picture hanging on the wall.
Thanks Freida for letting me share it. I just love it!

Now I said I was blogging for two, so my creation today is a card that covers the color challenge on Squigglefly's group on Card Universe which is to use yellow (or gold(, orange, and green, and also the Squigglefly blog challenge which is to make a gate fold card.

I used the cute Madison & Popples image and erased the leash before printing it and then cut the images out separately.

The images are colored with copic markers and colored pencils. I used a gel pen to make a few highlights and rubbed a little chalk around Madison. Popples is popped up (accidental pun there!) but the top left corner is left free so the Madison image can tuck underneath and keep the card closed.

Here's the inside

I used one of the paw prints from the free paw prints background and shrunk it down itty bitty! Cute - huh?

Last night's haunted house was really a let down. Most of it was walking stooped over in low and cramped places with strings hanging down from the ceiling in the dark. We had some funny parts though. When we were standing outside in line a man from a local radio station Alice 105 came up to the crowd and said "who listens to Alice?" and a bunch of people in line yelled out "whoo hoo!" Chesney turned to me and said "I thought he said "who's on Cialis and all those people were yelling "Whoo hoo!" I laughed and said " I thought he was asking who here was from Dallas!" We all got a chuckle out of that!

Only three more days and there will be more new images at Squigglefly! Lots of wonderful ones for Christmas and just plain winter type cards! Hopefully, I'll have a sneak peek for you soon!

It's another rainy day here and I love it! Just wish I could be home playing instead. I hope your day is a wonderful one, and thanks for stopping by!
