Combining digital Images - A Tutorial!

Hi everyone I got these videos uploaded in time to post them tonight instead of tomorrow! I just can't stay away can I? No card to show you, but I do want to share a couple of videos I made. A lot of you have asked how to combine images like I did on this card which combined the santa hat with Crissy's baby elelphant.

Hope you find it helpful, and just ask if you have any questions!

Holly -

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I have photoshop elements 6, so I should be able to do this. I hope!

By the way, what kind of camera do you use to film your tutorials? Christmas is coming and my husband is asking my what I'd like, and I thought perhaps a camera to record videos on the web.

Thanks - Elaine Allen

Holly, you have such a way of explaining things that are just so easy to understand. I love the little scrolling write-ups too, they are so funny, don't loose them it shows you are human as well as super human! I learn so very much from video tutorials, they are my favourite.

Images MUST be saved as PNGs or they will lose the 300 resolution to print information and you may find they do not print at the size you want them to print, among some other smaller issues.

You did a good job. Let me know if I can come to help with more tutorials. There are some other ways other people may find preferable to combining images. One more thing you left out is when you are resizing and dragging the corner, you should hold SHIFT while doing so to keep everything aligned properly.

Hi there Holly, great tutorials.

I've only got Elements 2.0 Got as far as layering first image. When I come to use the wand it won't delete, just puts blinking dotted lines around image. Any ideas how I get rid of the white bit? Many thanks
Sarah
