This was made for the Saturday Spotlight challenge to use something with a hat or hats in it. I love this spunky cow girl from Squigglefly called Cowgirl Up, and immediately thought of her in her cowgirl hat when I saw the challenge.
As I was making this I thought of the "don't squat with your spurs on" sentiment and it made me think that she was giving out a pretty good hint, like Hints From Heloise, only she's giving you pure horse sense! I was just giving you a peek into my mind and how I came up with the title of my post - in case you expecting to see a horse on my card! LOL!
The sentiment is computer generated. The girl is colored with copic markers and colored pencils. I punched little stars and glued them to her hat, and I used a white gel pen to add dots to her bandanna. I think she's pretty darn cute!

This is just too cute! Your shading is FABULOUS, as always, and I love the DP! The lasso gives the perfect touch! What an AWESOME sentiment, too! Reminds me of when I was trying to teach Sara how to squat and she backed up into a thorny bush! OUCH!
