Hi everyone! I got some news yesterday that had me smiling from ear to ear! I've been accepted into the copic certification class that will take place in Memphis on March 7th! I'm so excited!
Today is card give away day on my blog. If you'd like to win today's card, just leave a comment on this post and tomorrow around noon random.org will pick a winner! I even supply a matching envelope!
Today's card is made for those of you pining for Spring. I think this lovely Spring Tree image that Angie Davis drew just makes the sweetest little spring time card! Plus, the clean and simple challenge that Splitcoast Stampers for this week happens to have Spring as their theme, so I made this card for that challenge.

I used a textured pink card base and embossed one of the border embossing folders from Provo Craft on the side. Then I sanded it a bit to bring out the design.
The image was printed and then cut with a scalloped square nestability. I ran it through again to emboss it. It's colored with copic markers and the sky is chalked. I was going for an early spring sunrise look.
I thought the image was pretty enough to stand on it's own, so I didn't use any ribbons, embellishments, or designer paper. This makes it qualify for the challenge at Die Cuts R Us where they are challenging you to not use designer paper!
So, if you'd like to have this card - just leave me a comment! Wishing you a wonderful day and thanks for looking!
