Hi everyone!
This card is for two challenges. The Raise the Bar challenge this week is "What A Special Guy" and I thought the new inside out Handyman image would be perfect for that special guy - you know the kind of guy who's always dabbling in projects.
I love the Inside Out images at Squigglefly because you've got the whole card from the inside out right there!

The Paper Play challenge wants us to use something that has been in our stash for a while. Something we have had and haven't used in a long time. On my card, it's the fake eyelets along the bottom edge. They are brads made to look like eyelets. I've had them for years!
I colored this with Copic markers and printed out the Mr. Fix It wrench that Michelle Berutzzi drew to cut out as an embellishment. I colored it with a silver metallic sharpie pen. Here are the Copic colors I used on the image.

Now for the inside of the card

I used a real bandaid at the bottom of the card for some added fun. I actually stuck the bandaid to the printer paper and printed the Happy Birthday sentiment in the set directly to the bandaid. Instead of trying to peel the bandaid off of the paper, I just cut it out and then used double stick tape to tape it to the card. It's fun though! I'm thinking printing a great big "OUCH!" on a bandaid would be funny!
Here's a close up of the bandaid

Well, stay cool (I'm trying my best!), and thanks for looking!

What a cute card! I love how you made the sentiment from the band aid. It really looks like one, too, with that shine to it! Lovin' your new blog look, too.

Hi Holly, That is a real fun card. I love the bandaid idea, would never of thought of stamping on the bandaid. The wrench is awasome embellishment. (Ithink that is what that is) You have no idea how that card fits my husband. When something needs to be fixed I tell him I will call someone.
