Funny Anniversary

hi everyone! Here we are at hump day again. I hope your week is going well. Let me tell you a little background about my card today. I belong to several rubberstamping groups and on one of them I run the RAK request list. As I'm sure most of you know a RAK stands for Random Act of Kindness and in the rubberstamping world a RAK is usually a handmade card you send someone. Every onth I will ask people to send me names of people they want to put on the RAK list - people they may know who are celebrating a birthday or anniversary or someone who may be in need of a little cheery mail.

Last month when I sent out the requests for June one lady told me that her anniversary is June 20th and that her husband had recently asked for a divorce and so she knew that she was going to be sad on her anniversary. She wanted people to send her funny cards to help cheer her up. So, here is the card I made for her

I used the Coffee Chat girl from Squigglefly and colored her with Copic markers. The words were printed out at the same time. The sketch is from Card Patterns challenge.

I know you want to know what the inside says and I'll tell you, but since it's only one word I didn't bother to photograph it. It says simply "divorced". LOL! Now I apologize to any men reading this - I don't mean to bash. It's simply made to make her laugh and I hope it makes you laugh too!

Speaking of anniversaries, I told you earlier that Monday marked my two year blog-aversary and I've finally got a picture of the prize I'm giving away for it!
