there's a lot of stuff here - a Stampin' Up! stamp set (slightly used), some 6x6 papers, some shimmer mist, some ribbon, some snowflake embellishments, some unmounted rubber stamps, some flower stickers, a provo craft die, decorative brads, assortment of embellishments including some of my hand crocheted snow flakes, and a set of blo pens (great for adding speckles to your background!), and a quickie glue pen. Right now I am at 310 followers. For every 3 more followers I gain until the end of this blog candy I will add another something to the prize package! I have added a package of six brass charms, a package of 12 sugar coating glitter by Doodlebug, and a Viva Silver Pearl pen to the prize package so far! When I reach 322 followers I will add this
Two brand new foam mounted Inky Impressions rubber stamps. These are Angelica's Heart Socks and LiLi's Chicks.
To win this candy, just leave me a comment when I post something. I have a day picked out between October 11th and the end of the month. On that day I will have random. org pick a winner from the comments left on that day. You won't know which day is picked, so your best chance is to comment every day! I will announce the winner of the candy on November 1st!
Hi everyone! This week is speeding by isn't it? I am glad tomorrow is Friday! I need the weekend to catch up on so many things I didn't get a chance to do last weekend - plus my stamping room is a mess with all the cards I've been making lately!
Well, let's get on to the card shall we?

Isn't this a fun one? I really love how it turned out! I used Laura Campbell's Lovely Cake and paired it up with Jess Holland's Birthday Medley. I changed the different birthday words to different colors in Adobe Photoshop Elements before printing. I have a tutorial HERE that tells you how to do that.
Once the sentiment was printed I filled in the "Happy Birthday" with a Quickie glue pen and sprinkled on some glitter so it would stand out a bit more. The cake is colored with Copic markers and I put some yellow stickles on the candle flame.
When I went to put this card together the sentiment panel was cut a little long, but I already had it taped down on one side and I didn't want to risk tearing it by pulling it off, and if I just cut off the other end even with the card it was going to look off center. So, I stuck a piece of foam board underneath the middle of it to make it bow out a bit. I kind of like the look! It makes it a little different from the usual and that's always a good thing!
My next card is for yesterday's Hope You Can Cling To Challenge. The challenge is to create a card following the sketch provided, but you have to follow the theme of dancing. I chose to use the popular Sock Hop Girl drawn by Lynne Stansbery for my dancing girl. She just looks like she's having so much fun dancing the night away at a Friday night hop in her new pink poodle skirt!

She's colored with Copic markers and chalked around the edges. The glittered flower and fabulous LP record embellishments are from a fun little package I got from Marlene a couple of days ago. When I saw the dance theme these embellishments popped into my head and I knew what image I wanted to use! Thanks Marlene, they are perfect and add such fun to the card! Can you believe I have not missed one single Hope You Can Cling To challenge? I'm even surprised!
In case you missed the return of digi day at Squigglefly's group on Card Universe, I wanted to tell you that there were some great freebies given out and a fun challenge where you can win a prize. So go HERE to grab the freebies and check out the challenge!
Have a fun day, and thanks as always for looking!
