Thanksgiving Frame

(this will remain on top until the give away - please scroll down for the current post)

I've got blog candy!

there's a lot of stuff here - a Stampin' Up! stamp set (slightly used), some 6x6 papers, some shimmer mist, some ribbon, some snowflake embellishments, some unmounted rubber stamps, some flower stickers, a provo craft die, decorative brads, assortment of embellishments including some of my hand crocheted snow flakes, and a set of blo pens (great for adding speckles to your background!), and a quickie glue pen. Right now I am at 310 followers. For every 3 more followers I gain until the end of this blog candy I will add another something to the prize package!

To win this candy, just leave me a comment when I post something. I have a day picked out between now and the end of the month. On that day I will have random. org pick a winner from the comments left on that day. You won't know which day is picked, so your best chance is to comment every day! I will announce the winner of the candy on November 1st!

Hi all! I hope your week is off to a good start! I joined in the Squigglefly challenge yesterday to make this card

The challenge is to make a card for any kind of celebration. My celebration is obviously Thanksgiving. I chose to combine Nina Brackett's Happy Thanksgiving sentiment with the wonderful Fall Frame that Rich Davis drew. Roann's beautiful calligraphy Thanksgiving sentiment would have worked well too.

I colored everything with Copic markers and chalked a little around the pumpkins. This is a really quick card to make and would be good for mass producing.

I have another card that I made for yesterday's Hope You Can Cling To challenge. This time we are supposed to add a paper flower to our project. Here's my card

I used the sweet little Cookie and Squirrel by Diane Carubia. Riley would never sit this quietly by a squirrel! I colored the image with Copic markers and chalked the sky. My paper flowers are die cut from some Provo Craft dies and I colored them yellow to match the flowers in the image. The centers are circle punched from brown card stock. So far I've completed every challenge! Whoo Hoo!

I wish each of you a fantastic day and thanks for looking!

Did y'all feel the earthquake yesterday? I was thinking bout cha! Since we rarely get them, most people hardly notice. Several yrs ago, there was a mild one somewhere close to us and we ended up having some cracks in some of our walls, but we had a doozie of one when we lived in CA. They will definitely get your attention! :)

Well GF, you have that coloring down pat on those leaves and pumpkins! Look at that blending and highlighting! WOW! What a great combination of images too! Such a FABULOUS card for the season!
Don't cha just love Cookie's expression??? Too cute! No, Molly wouldn't just be sitting there either! I love the colors and the sketch you used on this! FABULOUS job on the flowers too! They go perfectly with the ones in the image!

I'm sooo proud that you've taken part in all the challenges, but it really doesn't surprise me at all! Unlike ME, YOU are packed with overflowing mojo and you're organized to where you can make it happen! I'm just hoping you'll rub off on me sooner or later! :) teehee

Hugs~

Hi Holly -

Love the Cookies and Squirrel card, just so sweet. But my favorite is the Pumpkin Thanksgiving card. I have a "thing" for pumpkins (pears too) and these are just so cute. A wonderful job with the coloring also.
