Wedding weekend, cards, and more candy!

(this will remain on top until the give away - please scroll down for the current post)

I've got blog candy!

there's a lot of stuff here - a Stampin' Up! stamp set (slightly used), some 6x6 papers, some shimmer mist, some ribbon, some snowflake embellishments, some unmounted rubber stamps, some flower stickers, a provo craft die, decorative brads, assortment of embellishments including some of my hand crocheted snow flakes, and a set of blo pens (great for adding speckles to your background!), and a quickie glue pen. Right now I am at 310 followers. For every 3 more followers I gain until the end of this blog candy I will add another something to the prize package! I have added a package of six brass charms and a package of 12 sugar coating glitter by Doodlebug to the prize package so far. The next item waiting to be added is this Viva Pearl Pen in Silver

To win this candy, just leave me a comment when I post something. I have a day picked out between October 11th and the end of the month. On that day I will have random. org pick a winner from the comments left on that day. You won't know which day is picked, so your best chance is to comment every day! I will announce the winner of the candy on November 1st!

Good morning everyone! It was a beautiful weekend for a wedding wasn't it? I don't have a lot of pictures to share yet, but here is a picture of the chapel where the wedding took place yesterday

and here is a picture of the beautiful bride

I will share more once I've had time to go through all of the pictures, but the wedding was sweet and Chesney and Rob made a beautiful bride and groom!

Now I do have a couple of cards to share with you. the first one is for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #16 to use felt on your card.

I used Nina Brackett's Seasonal Tree set. It's colored with Copic markers and the grass and sky are chalked. The words are computer generated and I guess you can see my felt is the clouds. I hand cut them out of some white felt.

My next card is for the featured stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. I used the free Daily Twitter from Squigglefly but eliminated the word bubble. It's paired with Jess Holland's Somebirdy sentiment. If you want to see the card I CASED, it can be seen here

There's a new challenge on the Squigglefly blog today, so be sure to check that out! I'm heading out the door in a bit to walk Riley. She felt a little neglected this weekend with us gone so much for the wedding festivities so I know she is expecting me to make it up to her today! Enjoy your day, and thanks for looking!

The bride is so pretty. There is something about a wedding dress that just makes a girl (woman) light up. I've never seen and ugly bride!! Love your two cards, also. I love that tree shape and how you did the blue and green on the other card. Sure wish I could start buying copic markers and start learning how to use them. I adore how they make an image come to life. Thanks for sharing with us.
