Now I'll bet you thought from the title of my post that I was going to have a picture of some aging rocker like Bob Dylan or something, but I'm talking about a different kind of rocker

This is Grandma's Rocker by artist Lynne Stansbery. I love it. It can be used for so many things. I think it would make a sweet baby card, but I chose to go with a simple thinking of you card.
I colored this with copic markers and chalked the wall and floor. The sentiment was computer generated. I embossed a piece of brown card stock with swiss dots embossing folder and then layered a smaller strip of brown card stock down the center of it and laid that behind the image.
My creativity hasn't made it's return completely, but I don't think it's far off! I have a great idea for the Valentine challenge going on at the Papercraft Planet and SNR Card Universe groups. I am ready to put the idea to paper and card stock and ink, but I need to find the time!
I hope you will consider joining in the challenge too. Just look at what you can win
And if that's not enough of a challenge for you, join in the challenge on the Squigglefly Blog!
Thanks for stopping in to see what I made, and I wish you a wonderful day!

I have to go get that image! I just started knitting over 2 weeks ago and I love it! It keeps me awake and not eating while watching tv in the evenings!
OH I LOVE THAT IMAGE! It's very similar to the rocker I still have that my mom rocked me in! NOW THAT THING IS OLD!!! It's definitely one of my most prized possessions because I rocked all 3 of my babies in it too! :)
Your coloring really stands out in this one, especially on that blanket! WOW! The embossed background looks fabulous and really compliments this awesome design! Such a beautiful card, GF!
I had to pick my jaw up the other day when I went to check out the new images! OH MY!!! :) There are SOOO many I have to have! I just hope 'life' slows down a bit soon so I can play! Lately, I have felt like I was living by a stop watch...just ready for some 'slow-motion' time!
Stay warm!
