Double Twisted Easel Card video!

Hi everyone! I talked with Chesney yesterday and she is feeling much better! She's still a little sore, but so much better than she was right after surgery. Isn't it amazing how quickly they get people in and out these days?

Wasn't the release at Squigglefly this week worth the wait? I made another double twisted easel card like the one HERE so that I could make a video for you, and one of the images I used won't be in the store until next weekend, so you are getting a really early sneak peek!

Here's the card I made

I used the Happy Easter Egg Bunny by Paulette Rich Long and the other one that won't be out until next week is also by Paulette called Bunny Juggling. The sentiment on the card comes with the Happy Easter Egg Bunny.

I used Copic markers to color with and added some glitter to one of the images. I also made another carrot with embroidery floss and cardboard, but this time I crocheted the orange embroidery floss before I wrapped the cardboard with it. Here's a couple of close up shots of the each of the images.

and I did make a video showing you how to put one together. I do hope you will give one a try. They are super easy and fun to do! If you can't view the video from my blog, you can view it on YouTube HERE. Today is my day to prepare meals ahead for the week and we are going to get Riley out today too. Yesterday was a rainy day and she didn't get much outdoor time. I hope you have a great day, and thanks for looking!

Very cute card! Love those floss carrots you make. Hope you have a great day and get all that cookin' done. Please take your camera when you take Riley for her outing. Isn't it time for more Riley pics?

So cute, Holly! Love the bunny juggling veggies. Do you eat yours? LOL! I do! I love veggies!
This would be an adorable card to give to a child to remind them to eat theirs, wouldn't it?!

I'm SOOO glad Ches is doing better. Those incisions in the belly area are no fun so I hope she continues to move around...she'll be glad she did! Give her my love.:)

Before I get to your fabulous card and video, I want you to put the top you had on in the video on a scanner and send me the file! :) That print would be so AWESOME on paper! It's such a pretty top, I'm going to have to watch the video again because my ADD kicked in and I was only thinking about what beautiful paper it would make! :) I scan patterns all the time so I know it will work!!! :) teehee

OK, let me back up now! Yesterday's releases were unbelievable! We all know what fabulous images Ches and Lynne design, and these new artists are going to fit right in! Nate's unique style and variety of his work is amazing! Diane and Paulette are no different! These girls have put so much personality and charm in their designs, you just want them all. Yesterday I did make my own personal blog hop to see what the DT had done with these new images and was I ever blown away! Oh my at the inspiration! :) So KUDOS to Squigglefly for continuing to offer such top-notch talent! ;)

Hmmm...I'm thinking I may need to close this comment out and come back to comment on your card and video! You know me...once I get on a rant! I read somewhere the other day about "blog etiquette", and it seems I've broken lots of 'rules'! ECKKK! So I'll be right back with Chapter2!

Now,to get down to business...

Thank you SOOO much for taking the time to make a video for us visual learners! Every video you make is so easy to follow and understand...yep, even for me! THANKS BUNCHES!!! :)

This has to be one of the most exciting and unique Easter cards ever! Each of the images you used is so adorable and full of its own personality...such clever, clever images and are so perfect for this exceptional card design! And ohhh you KNOW I love the DP you used...between the colors and that sparkle, it's perfect for these images! I also love how you used the orange ribbon over the pink, and that lil carrot just takes the cake! :) This card is so inspiring and creative, Holly! YOU ROCK, GF! :)
Ok...I'm finished!
