Clean and Simple Floral

Good morning everyone! Today is Tuesday and that means it's another Mothermark Teaparty! This week we are all bringing simple floral cards. I went with the Dogwood Delight image from Squigglefly. I colored it with Copic markers and added the sentiment before printing it.

The corners were punched and then I wrapped the card with some iridescent thread. The cards are all going to Lindsey who will be in the hospital undergoing treatment for about a month. Lindsey loves to give cards to people, but she's not a card maker herself so all of the teapotters are making a simple card for Lindsey and then including the parts of the card so she can make some herself and have our card as a guide! Isn't that a wonderful idea?

I included four images with the corners already punched for her, as well as the thread and the card bases. I'm sure making cards will help her pass some of the time she has to be there, and by the end of her treatment she will probably be a full fledged card maker herself!

Did you get a chance to see the Squigglefly challenge this week? I was really impressed with the design team's projects and I hope you took the time to go see for yourself. Please try to play along because I'd love to see what you come up with!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks for looking!

What a wonderful idea to include all the parts for her to do her own cards! A whole month in the hospital, I'd go nuts without something to do. Fantastic Holly!

SO pretty. That Dogwood feels like spring- they're in bloom everywhere here, now. Love the thread detail. Love that you're including parts of the card for Lindsey to make her own too. Clever & sweet.
