Merry Little Penguins

Happy Friday everyone! Well, I've got a winner of the Craft gossip Fork and Talk event surprise giveaway I'm doing. The winner is Terri Fleming! She is the first person to use the magic word in her comment. The magic word was Rocks! I reached into the prize bag and pulled out this fun item

I think these would be so cute in a little girl's room or nursery, but they'd be great for party decorations too.  There are three different sizes in the package.  Terri, I think I have your address already, so all you have to do is watch your mailbox!

The next prize item will be given away just by random number generator pick, so get those comments in folks!
oh, I suppose I should give you something to comment on!  LOL!  so, here's another Christmas card

The image is by Diane Carubia and is called Penguins Christmas Kiss.    Isn't it sweet?   I colored them purple to go with the papers better, and besides purple is so much prettier than black!  There's Snow Tex on their hats.  The Snowflakes on the side are Martha Stewart punches

The sentiment is a great one by Jess Holland called Have Yourself and I changed the color to match the papers before printing it.

You've still got time to play in the Squigglefly Blog challenge, so pull out those reds and oranges and make something!

Yesterday evening Riley snagged her toenail on something and almost ripped the whole thing out!  She bled pretty badly, but once the bleeding stopped she was ready to get back outside!  We tried to make her lie still as much as we could.  This morning she is off to the vet to have it checked out.  We had planned on taking her out on the boat this afternoon and letting her run around a sandbar or two, but now we may not get to do that.  The weather has been just magnificent, and her energy and mine is back in full force.   I'll be back to announce the prize winner!  thanks for looking!

Terri won the big balls! Ha ha ha!

Love your card - penguins are the CUTEST.

It's amazing how those doggy toenails bleed when the "quick" is exposed, huh? Ouch. Poor Riley.

Your penguin card is so sweet, love the colors too! Penguins remind me of my daughter as she has collected them for a long time.

Hope Riley will be full of vinegar soon!

Bwahahahaha! Thanks Holly!

This will teach me to read your blog in a more timely fashion!

I got the lanterns in the mail and at first could not figure out why. Then I recognized your AR addy.

Thank you!

The penguins are so cute. I always like your extra touches such as flocking on their hats and the greeting on the cute border.
