Special Balloons

Hi everyone! I hope you are off to a great start this morning. One thing you can do to rev your engine up is go by the Squigglefly blog and check out what the Squigglefly design team has come up with for this week's challenge!

You know that my mojo has been scarce these past few days, and there's nothing like a challenge to get you moving. I tried my hand at the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers yesterday and came up with this.

I used the newly released Shy Bear - Balloon Bear for this and colored it with Copic markers. The image comes with this cute sentiment. On the inside it says
"They're filled with heal-ium". Isn't that the cutest?

You can see the card I CASED HERE. I wouldn't say I feel like my creativity is back in full swing, but having a challenge to do does help to get you kick started!

I definitely plan on playing along in the newest Squigglefly challenge, and there is a new challenge in the forums too! Papercraft Planet and SNR card universe groups are having a valentine themed challenge - but you can choose between the traditional sweet valentine, or go anti-valentine with it! It seems that there are more and more people who are against the commercialism of valentine's day and those that say it only makes people who don't have a significant other in their lives feel bad. It's gotten to be a pretty big market in the greeting card industry. Try googling "anti valentines" and you'll see what I mean! even if you love valentine's day, it might be kind of fun to come up with one that's against it! So, what are you - mushy and sweet or snarky and mean? There will be three winners, so be sure to run by and check those out!

Wedding Card

Hi everyone. Well, my mojo is still hiding from me. I'm making things, but I'm not thrilled with any of it. Here's a wedding card I made with the entwined hearts from Hearts Set One.

The colors of the wedding are gray and pale yellow so I tried to incorporate those colors in this card. I filled in the hearts with a quickie glue pen and sprinkled some glitter on them. I used part of a nestabilities frame for the top and bottom of the image and added a few pearls.

The background panel was embossed and sponged with yellow around the edge. I think part of the reason I don't care for this card is because the image was printed on white and the rest of the card is in ivory. I don't dislike it enough to do it over though.

Did you see the images that were released at Squigglefly yesterday? There are some that I just love, but I'm waiting to see what sparks my mojo back into life before I make something else I don't like!

Yesterday it was nearly 80 degrees, and today the weather says a cold front is moving in and we will have cold temperatures into the single digits by Tuesday night! I'm glad for it though, because I am in no way ready for spring!

Edgy Valentine

Hi everyone! Did you miss me the last couple of days? My mojo left me and I was hating everything I tried to do, so I took a creative break. Last night however, I did get the urge to work on a card for the Squigglefly Blog challenge and I love how this turned out!

I took the first photo inside with my OTT light directed at it. This next photo was taken outdoors while overcast. Which one do you think looks better? they say natural light is best for photos, but I really think the first photo looks more like the actual card.

This lovely entwined hearts image is just ONE of SIX different, and very unique hearts in the Hearts Set One at Squigglefly.

I colored this with copic markers and added a bit of ruby glitter to some of the tinier hearts. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a Spellbinder's tag die and then sponged on the edge with red. I used a Provocraft hearts embossing folder on the background panel.

The challenge is to do something to the edges of your card. You can do anything you want, cut them with decorative scissors, doodle, add punched borders, etc. I chose to do a row of piercing on my edges. I hope you'll go play along in the challenge! Speaking of challenges, today is the last day to get your card in the Color Bowl challenge on the Papercraft Planet and SNR Card Universe groups! The winners will be announced tomorrow.

Do You Want To?

Hi everyone! well here we are with another Monday! You just can't stop 'em from coming can you? I had such fun creating cards yesterday, and I had the BEST time creating today's card! I couldn't wait to share it with you!

This alluring image is one that was just released last week called Come Hither, and it's drawn by Lynne Stansbery. I colored her with Copic markers (I'll show you which ones in a bit) and chalked some yellow in the background.

I found this lace at Hobby Lobby that has tiny ribbon roses sewn into it, and I cut the lace off to use as a frame for the image. Three of the little flowers are stuck onto the top right corner. The sentiment was printed out on my computer in a font called Doris Day.

I punched a heart shape out of the red card stock, and then covered it in double sided tape and then coated it with some ruby glitter. Then I popped it up over the punched out heart. This was a really fun card to make and such a fun image to color!

Paying Homage To Marlene

Hi everyone! How's your weekend going? Mine is going by too quickly, but I'm blending the fun and the work to a nice balance! Yesterday I got all of my grocery shopping for the week done and cleaned around the house some, but I still had time to take Riley for a walk and make a card with one of the new images from Squigglefly! Have you been by to see all the new images? There are some wonderfully fun ones as well as some great Easter images! You know Easter will be here before we know it!

For my card today I chose Perturbed Tilly by Marlene Shaw. Everyone knows how much fun Marlene has with her witty sentiments, so I took the opportunity to pay homage to Marlene by making a snarky card of my own with her drawing.

Tilly reminds me a lot of the character Mimi from the old Drew Carey show, so I colored her with Mimi in mind. I used copic markers and chalked around the image while it was still in the die.

My sentiment was printed on the computer in a font called Cricket. I followed a sketch on Sketch Saturday for my layout, and embossed the swirls on some Cored'nation card stock and then sanded it to bring the pattern out.

You Are...

Hi everyone! I told you I'd be back with a card today and I am! However it's not with one of the fabulous images that are new in the store today - it's with one from last week called My Main Squeeze by Lynne Stansbery.

I LOVE this darling image! I think she is so cute, and she was a blast to color. I used copic markers and though it's hard to see in the photo I did chalk around the background a bit. The white dots on her dress and the scallops were done with a paintbrush dipped in white gesso.

I printed the sentiment out on my computer. I was originally going to just edge the "U" "R" letters with red, but when my ink smeared I rather liked it so I went for it!
The background paper is the free paper that was offered in Squigglefly's groups at Papercraft Planet and SNR Card Universe. It's still there if you want to go grab it - and take a moment to check out the Colorbowl challenge; there's still time to play along!

There's not a lot of time left to join in the blog challenge though - so you'd better hurry if you want to do that one!

Speaking of challenges, I am entering this in the Stamp Something challenge which is to stamp something cute! Don't you think this one qualifies? No crafting today

Happy Friday everyone! Yesterday we were promised snow and we did get some, but to my disappointment it wasn't much. It was really pretty while it was coming down though!
I did get off work an hour early because of the weather and I want to show you what I did with my time after I got home - and it doesn't have a thing to do with crafting!

About a week ago I saw this post and thought that the "before" photo of her pantry looked just like mine! So, I contacted her and ordered three of the carousel shelves. they arrived the day before yesterday, and I was just waiting for the right time to start.

First of all I have to give this guy tons of credit for how well he packed these. he had pieces of foam between each carousel to protect them, and everything was packaged in little bags labeled so you know exactly what's what. He even included the drill bits that you need to drill holes!

His instructions were very clear and the installation went smoothly. These things are made to go in the corner, but we have a support piece in the corner of our pantry and I didn't want to remove it and place support elsewhere so I just put them on the shelves in another location.

Now, I didn't go to a lot of trouble making my pantry look all pretty like the girl in that post did - I just wanted it more organized. I removed everything and cleaned the shelves, but I didn't paint or anything.

The carousels are on the right in the top photo. It's amazing how much these things hold, and they are sturdy enough that you can place pretty heavy things on them. they spin smoothly and are super quiet. There is a little clear lip around the edge to keep things from sliding off. I am super impressed by these and am thinking of getting one of the smaller ones he makes for under the kitchen sink. I thought the price was extremely reasonable too - only $29.00 per carousel!

Anyway, I wanted to share it with all of you because I am a happy camper!

I wish I had a card to show you with one of the new images that will be in Squigglefly's store tomorrow, but I got caught up in my pantry and didn't make a card to show you! I promise to have a card tomorrow!

Sunflower Thanks

Happy hump day! Yesterday we tried out a new groomer. This one comes to your house and grooms them in a mobile pet spa. It costs quite a bit more, but it was faster and Riley wasn't kept in a kennel for hours on end. I loved the name of the company - Ultimutt Pet Spa! Anyway, she was WAY overdue for a grooming! They lady gave her the true Wire Haired Terrier cut which I'm not that fond of. I will have a go at her beard with the trimmer later, but here's how she looked minutes after her new "do".

Of course now they are saying it's going to get really cold here again tomorrow night and I'm sure Riley will be feeling quite unprotected, and of course about twenty minutes after this photo was taken we took her to the park where she found not one, not two, but THREE holes to dig in! She is a little dirtier tonight, but she feels more like Riley not being spotlessly clean! LOL!

I have a quick thank you card to share with you today, and I really love how this one turned out!

I used an image from Squigglefly called Sunflowers and colored it with Copic markers. The sentiment was done on my computer and printed at the same time as the image. I wrapped some brown hemp cord on the side and tied in a knot. It's very simple, but I really like it!

Green & Silver Challenge

Hi everyone! Yesterday I was given the honor of being the Make It Monday featured blogger on Pink Paper Paradise! I was so glad to have the opportunity to share some older things. I've gotten so many new followers since I first posted my Boob Book. I hope you'll take a bit of time today to go and see it if you missed it the first time!

Well, did you go to the Squigglefly Blog Challenge yesterday and see what the challenge is this week? Chelsea has given everyone the challenge of using the colors green and silver and then to add a flower of some kind to your project. I thought the design team's samples were absolutely over the top! Be sure to go take a look if you haven't already - and come play along! I did, and here is my project

I chose the Delicate Layered Cake drawn by Angie Davis. I colored with Copic markers and then added some silver glitter here and there to the cake, but the glitter isn't showing up too well in the photo. I also have a touch of silver in the corner with a decorative metal tab. My flowers are already on the cake!

Featuring A Couple of Challenge Cards

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was really good even though it went by a little quicker than I would have liked. I did get ample play time in!

Before I get to the cards I want to share with you, I want to remind you all to go have a look at the Squigglefly Blog because it's a new challenge today and today is Chelsea's group to shine! If you're lucky enough to have today off for Martin Luther King day, why not try to play along for a prize? There are a lot of FREE IMAGES for you to use!

The cards I want to share today were made for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The gallery we could pick from was a wonderful one!

The first card I CASED can be seen HERE, and here is my card

This was really fast to make! I used the tulip border from Spring Suite II and just repeated it along the width of the card. I used colored pencils to color it. Colored pencils on Kraft card stock just looks so nice!

I printed the words with my computer and pierced a row of dots leading to it. It's hard to see in the photo, but I also pierced the "i"'s in the wording. I used a 1/8th inch hole punch to make little notches on the sides of the card to help hold the twine in place.

Well, after making that I found another card in the gallery that she did on Kraft card stock and since I still had a piece left over I decided to make another! The second card I CASED is THIS ONE, and here is my card

I used the Flower Pot image by Rich Davis for this card. Again, it's colored with colored pencils. I added the speckles by using a brown Blo Pen. Those things are so much fun to use and I like the look!

I did originally hand doodle a line around the image like the one in the card I was CASING, but I didn't like it so I cut it off! I think this might need a sentiment added to it, but for now I'm leaving it because I can't make up my mind.

On the home front, yesterday my husband surprised me with an early Valentine's Day present! He went to the store and came home with such a surprise; he got me a DIAMOND RING! It's so BIG! Here's a picture of me wearing it.

LOL! Isn't he just SO sweet?! I got a laugh out of it.

Wow! what a deal he got - only 99cents!

Bee There For The Challenges

Hi everyone! Last night's digi day was a fun one. If you didn't make it, you missed out because EVERYONE who came is getting a prize from me!

Today's card was made for two challenges. The first challenge is the Color Bowl challenge taking place at Squigglefly's group on SNr Card Universe! You need to use something WHITE on your card. The second challenge is at 365 cards where you have to have some kind of bug on your card.

I used the cute little Flower Love Bee by Rich Davis for my card. I colored with copic markers and added some brown puff paint to the center of the flower. The sentiment is computer generated. I used some fancy corner scissors on the lower corners of my card and on the designer paper. My white element is the ribbon.

Today I am off to do the weekly grocery shopping and then I plan to come back home and craft some more before I prepare some meals ahead for the week. I hope you enjoy your Sunday, and thanks for looking!

Doctor's Orders

Hi everyone! I had to get an early start to my weekend because my friend is taking her car into the shop to have some work done on it, and she wanted some company while it was being done. Well, I couldn't turn her down - she's my best friend; and besides that she's offered to buy me breakfast!

Have you been to Squigglefly this morning to see all the new images? Aren't they marvelous? The card I have to share with you today uses one of the new images. It's called Doc and is drawn by Rich Davis.

I did this for the Color Bowl Challenge on Squigglefly's group at Papercraft Planet. The PCP group has to use black in their project. I chose to use some black brads as bullets for the "doctor's orders" on my card. The image is colored with Copic markers and chalk. All of the wording is computer generated. Wanna see the inside?

I think this card would be great for a male birthday, and really just anyone who has a sense of humor!

Squigglefly's SNR Card Universe is joining this Color Bowl challenge for a bit of friendly competition. Sneak Peek!

Top o' the mornin' everyone! Here we are ready for another new release at Squigglefly tomorrow! I am so happy to be able to show you a sneak peek of one of the images that will be available tomorrow. This one is drawn by Lynne Stansbery and is called Shamrock Wreath. I don't make a lot of St Patrick's Day cards, but I think this is such a pretty image that I may make more than usual this year!

I added the sentiment with my computer before printing it. It's colored with Copic markers and I used a Quickie glue pen on the ribbon and then added some glitter.
The scalloped nestabilities was sponged along the edge with some green galore ink. All I needed then was some green ribbon and some designer paper! I thought the speckled paper was perfect with this.

As I said earlier, the new images will be released in the store tomorrow. We also have something else going on tomorrow - Squigglefly's Digi Day will be happening at 7-8 pm (central standard time) HERE. I hope you can come by and visit!

Birthday Bear

Hi everyone! Wow, what a cold snap we're having here! I do love the colder temperatures, but with the wind making it a chilly 7 degrees it's cramping my morning walk with Riley. She still gets plenty of exercise outdoors during the day while I'm at work, but my legs (and butt!) are in dire need of our walk!

I'm working on birthday cards for my stash, and this sweet little Baby Bear Roses image by Diane Carubia was calling my name to be colored!

Isn't he just the sweetest little thing? I colored him with Copic markers and chalked some blue around him. I added a touch of sparkle with some stickles on the butterflies. I went with my favorite purple color and tied some eyelash yarn around the paper. The sentiment is my favorite Birthday Wishes by Jess Holland.

Today is the beginning of a brand new challenge on Squigglefly's groups at Papercraft Planet and on SNR Card Universe! With all the football bowl games going on lately, Heather and Pat have decided to have a bowl of their own! They will be hosting the Color Bowl! There will be a total of three prizes and you have TWO WEEKS to get your projects completed. I hope you will be joining in on the fun too, and even if you don't play along come see all the eye candy!


Yesterday my sister-in-law sent me a link to video of an amazingly talented drummer. This little boy is only FOUR YEARS OLD, and he can drum like nobody's business! The facial expressions he makes are so cute. Anyway, I thought it was cute enough to share. If you can't see the video from my blog, you can view it on You Tube HERE



I doubt there is any question as to what this child is going to do in his life!

Cold Hearts and Cold Noses

Hi everyone! I am going to share some pictures of our SNOW DAY! If you aren't interested in pictures of Riley in the snow, then scroll on down for today's card!

It was a powdery snow and not much good for snowman making, but Riley and I had a blast anyway. You know I had to make a snowangel




and then while the snow was till so untouched, I drew a heart partly to show that I {heart} snow, but also because I have valentines on the brain these days!



We found some rabbit tracks and a bit of rabbit fur in the snow and Riley had to investigate



Look here you can see some of the rabbit fur she smelled is stuck to her muzzle! Ha ha!



It was a fun day!


Now for today's card! I finally got started on my thank you cards!

Didn't this turn out pretty? I used the flower basket image by Eline Pelinkhoff and colored it with Copic markers. I added a bit of yellow stickles to the center of the flowers.
The pretty lotus blossom nestabilities frames it nicely and dresses it up a bit.

The sentiment was printed with my computer. It's kind of a plain and simple layout, but that's what I was going for!

You Be The Designer - a Tutorial!

Hi everyone! I've got a real treat for you today! The other day I was making a valentine card and I had it all colored up ready to be made into a card. Then I started rummaging through my papers and I couldn't find anything to go with the image! I know that I'm not the only one that this happens to, but thanks to my super talented daughter Chesney Young I was saved. She put together a quick, easy to understand and follow video showing how to make your own background paper using Adobe!

I have Adobe Photoshop elements and I was able to follow her instructions exactly except for when she chooses the pattern. If you are using Adobe Photoshop elements, to choose the pattern you will see a little box at the top left that says "pattern" and you need to click the box. Then you will see a little drop down arrow to the right of that. When you click on the drop down arrow you will be able to choose your pattern. If you don't have Adobe, you can do the same thing using GIMP which is available as a free download HERE.

By following along with her tutorial I was able to make the cute little hearts background paper for this card. (I used one of the hearts over the little girl bear's head in Bashful Valentines)

The main image is one of the new releases, and it's called Shy Bear Heart Signs. Isn't it sweet? I colored with Copic markers and added glitter and shredded confetti glitter to their signs.

The sentiment at top is the Happy Valentines Day sentiment by Nina Brackett. It's cut out with a nestabilities ribbon tag.

Doesn't the little heart background paper look cute with this? Another fun thing you can do is make the same pattern in a larger print if you wanted! I do hope you will give the tutorial a try!

Squigglefly's Hearty Challenge!

We probably got about an inch and half. I wish it had been more, but I'll take what I can get!

Well, today is Squigglefly's new Design Team's first challenge on the blog and I'm playing along! This week it's Vicki's group and she challenged everyone to "Have A Heart" and use a heart on your project.

This is a pretty easy challenge since everyone is thinking Valentine's Day! I chose to use an image that is really a summer time image. Eline Pellinkhof's cute little Fishing Time rabbit turns into a Valentine when he catches a heart!

I colored this with Copic markers and then glued a punched heart where the fish is. I printed the sentiment on my computer, cut it out in a heart shape and sponged around it with some Real Red ink.

Rosy Cheeks

Hi everyone! I'm posting much later than usual today, I know but I got a late start this morning (went to bed way late!) and then I wanted to make this card using one of the new images from Squigglefly! Have you been to the store today and seen them all? there are some great ones.

I have been wanting to make this kind of card for a while now, but when I saw The Friends Are Like Butt Cheeks sentiment in today's release I couldn't put it off any longer.

The panty template is a free one offered by Stamp owl on her blog HERE. I sponged a little pink on the folded card and cut her out some purple with black polka dots panties! Then I added some lace with a Fiskars border punch.

I printed the first part of the sentiment on to some scrap card stock and then punched it with a tag punch and sponged some lovely lilac ink and added a black ribbon. The tag is slipped into the top of the panty and does come out. Here's a look at the rest of the sentiment on the inside of the card

I already have this card ready to go to someone! the great thing about the template is that you can make a matching bra card to go with it and get both cards from one sheet of card stock.

Well, I'm off to clean house so I can play more later. I'm still hoping we get some SNOW tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed with me!

Okay, I'm cheap - or making lemonade out of lemons

Hi everybody! Yay for the weekend! Our weatherman is calling for the possibility of SNOW on Sunday! Oh I hope, I hope, I hope!

I wanted to have another peek of one of the upcoming new images for you today, but I just wasn't able to find time to get something made! The good news is that you won't have much longer to wait until you can see them all yourself because the images will be in the store tomorrow!

I do have a birthday card to show you today. This card features the little Birthday Cake Kaboodle by Diane Carubia. I colored this with Copic markers and chalk and used some yellow stickles on the candle flames. The sentiment was printed on my computer. I had a bit of trouble with this card, but in the end I think it turned out better that it would have.

After coloring this I used a circle nestabilities to cut it out. Then I went to emboss it, but the cut circle popped out of the die and shifted during it's roll through the cuttlebug and it ended up leaving this ugly line right through the design! I didn't want to scrap it and start over, so I ran it though the cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then ran it through again in a different direction just to give texture to the whole thing and camouflage the mistake. It worked I think beautifully. I even like the added texture to it!

Then after cutting the scalloped circle to go behind the image I realized I didn't have enough of the blue card stock I wanted to frame my designer paper! So, I got cheap and just stuck a small piece of the card stock to the edges so no one's the wiser in the front!

Yesterday after work we took Riley out to the park. She had a blast. She ran into an armadillo and grabbed him by the tail! He was trying to run into a hole and she was pulling him back and I was yelling at her to let him go. Fat chance of her doing that! Eventually he did get enough strength to make it to his hole and she lost her grip on him. Then she dug and dug at that hole trying to go get him. this is a picture I managed to snap of her midway through her digging

Was she a happy mess or what? The amazing thing is that after she was finished with the hole she ran through some tall grassy areas looking for mice and rabbits and the grass pretty much brushed her clean! Fun times I tell you!

Sneak peek and something to make you laugh

Hi everyone! Is this week going by slow for everyone else? I don't know if it's because I was off for so many days or if I'm just excited for Squigglefly's new release to get here! I do know that my work days fly by because I've been busy with end of the year and first of the year stuff.

Well, I promised you another peek at one of the new images and here it is

This is just one of a couple of new Shy Bears coming! It's called Bashful Valentine and I think it's so sweet. The little guy looks absolutely smitten with this girl bear doesn't he? I love the way he's just pushing the heart her way and hardly daring to glance at her! If he did glance at her he might see that she feels the same way - look at those hearts shooting around her head! LOL!

I colored this with Copic markers and used colored pencils for the shading behind them and for the floor. Bet you thought I was going to say I used chalk, didn't you?
I used a Quickie glue pen on the inside of his valentine and then sprinkled on some of the shredded glitter.

The sentiment is by Nina Bracket and can be found HERE. I changed the color to red using the same method I showed you yesterday. There is a heart dotting the "i", but I covered it up with a sparkling gem!

Here is a video I dare you to watch and not laugh - it's so cute! I don't know who is cuter, the baby or the dog!

A Valentine For My Hubby

Hi everyone! I promised you another sneak peek of one of the new images being released this weekend at Squigglefly and here it is! I LOVE this Divine Bovine Valentine set! It's a new one to add to the Divine Bovine series and this one comes with SEVEN punny sentiments!

When I think of valentines, the very first person I think to make one for is my sweet hubby, so this one is for him.

Don't you love this sweet cow couple?! Like I said, there are seven different sentiments that go with this, but I chose the significant udder one to use on this one. On the inside I printed out "I love you, and that's no bull!"

I colored with Copic markers and then ran a Quickie glue pen over her dress and added some glitter. After all, a girl dresses up to go dancing with her guy on Valentines Day, right? I chalked around the image and then cut a pretty piece of designer paper and added a punched border on the side. The sentiment is attached with two tiny red brads. See the little crocheted heart? I made that! I have gotten off snowflakes and moved to hearts now!

See that pretty swirly background paper? That's one of the patterns in the Paper Pattern Pack by Rich Davis. I changed the color from black to red in Adobe Photoshop Elements. If you want to know how to do that, I have a video showing you how!

Featuring a sneak peek!

Hi everyone! You know how I love the featured stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers, and this week was no exception! I loved the gallery of the featured stamper and found several cards I liked, but I chose THIS card to CASE.

The Heart Guitar is by Laura Campbell and I thought it went perfectly with this BRAND NEW sentiment that will be available in Squigglefly's next release - so you're getting a little sneak peek at what's to come!

I love this sentiment and think it's so true! I cut it out with an oval nestabilities die and then hand cut a slot for the ribbon to thread through. The Heart Guitar was colored with Copic markers and then cut out and mounted with some pop dots.

A Tee-rific Birthday

Hi everyone! Did you have a great weekend? I certainly did! Got lots accomplished! One of the things I did was make a few birthday cards to replenish my stash. It had gotten low while I was concentrating on Christmas cards. Unfortunately, I got stuck on birthdays and still have more thank you cards to make!

It uses the little golfing boy drawn by Cheryl Alger for Squigglefly. He's colored with Copic markers and the sky and grass are chalked. Then I stamped some grass using one of the stamps in the mini watercolors Stampin' Up! set.

The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a smaller nestabilities die in the same shape that the image is cut. I sponged some yellow around the edges of both of them. I think this is especially cute if you happen to know someone who is a golfer, but it still works for a general birthday card, don't you agree?

Just one more week until the challenges start back up at the Squigglefly blog! I hope you'll try to play along in a few this year, and I can't wait to see what the new design team does!

Udderly Adorable

Hi everyone! I hope your new year is off to a great start! I feel a little rushed today since it's my last day off work for a while and there is so much I need and want to do! It will be good for me to get back to a normal work routine though. If I stayed home many more days I'd have to go buy new clothes because I eat too much when I'm home!

I have been thinking Valentines lately because I am seeing so many of them on the blogs and it's the next big holiday for card makers. I made this card with Valentine's day in mind, but it could also be used for a friendship or birthday.

I used the Cute Cow image by Brian Lock for this card. This cute cow comes with four different sentiments!

I colored this with Copic markers, added some pink and black scallops, and dressed it all up with a black ribbon and a pink flower button! Don't you think it turned out cute?!
