Hi everyone! I'm so happy to tell you that Riley got her stitches and the drain removed yesterday! She is so happy to have that gone. The vet said that she still has some weakness in her hind legs so we have to keep her on the pain medication for a while longer. Now if she can just stay out of trouble for a while!
I've got a card I made for this week's Squigglelfy challenge which is to use stickles or some other kind of glitter glue on your project! It's so easy to add a touch of glitter to your projects, so why not make a card and join in?
My card uses the ever so cute Fairy Ring by Daphne van der Zanden. I love that the fairy has a sort of mischievous grin on her face - sort of like she's doing something a little naughty but having so much fun doing it that she doesn't care! So, with that thought in mind I cut the middle of the ring out and made it into a crystal ball that she's taken out for a joy ride!
I made the crystal ball by making it a gel card that I filled with bits of sparkling glitter, stars, and hearts. I colored the image with Copic markers and chalked around the outside a bit. Her wings have stickles. I know a little girl that will have a lot of fun squishing the glitter gel around!
Wishing you a great day and thanks for looking!
