White Christmas

Christmas day it rained.  Later it turned to ice, then even later to snow.  We don't get much snow here, but this time we got at least six inches!  It is so beautiful, and I love it.  I do not love that it took a lot of trees out and also our power!  We lost our power at about 3 Christmas day and it just came on about 6 this evening.
My fingers are crossed that it stays on!   We did have a fire burning in the living room to keep warm.

Baxter loves the snow!  I did a little filming of the dogs checking it out today - it's kind of long because I didn't do any editing, but it's funny to watch Baxter eat the snow.

If you can't see the video on my blog you can view it on You Tube here

Love this video of the snow and the dogs playing! LOL...Bax was eating it up, huh? Sorry you lost power...and there are plenty more storms a-comin' too.
We had severe rain storms and tornadoes to the east of hit a high school and another a hospital and some homes were lost. We dodged a bullet with our storms, thank God...some sporadic power outages, but the workers were hard on the job getting them back up. I'm afraid we're all in for one heck of a winter...hope I'm wrong.
Your close-ups of the snow showed how beautifully sparkly it was. Great video, Holly, and loved watching those dogs play in it! Hope your New Year is fun and safe! Stay warm, my friends!

Oh WOW!!!!! I'm sorry you lost power but this scene makes it almost worth it, but I'm glad you got it back. When it snows like this and then the sky clears up and it's this gorgeous blue.....Oh my goodness, it's breath taking. We didn't get much snow here in NW Indiana, a few fluries but nothing spectacular like this. I don't like the cold weather to much but I do love seeing everything covered in fresh snow. Your doggies seem to be enjoying it as well, thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Beautiful but a lot of trees down, we were lucky here, no ice just a lot of snow, mostly last night.

Riley and Baxter are so cute, love the video.

Hugs, Lori m

Wow, Holly, I really love your videos of Baxter and Riley - they both make me laugh. You need to give Baxter some snowcones in the Summer!! The trees were beautiful, but so sad some are lost to the ice.

Happy Holidays! Kathy

Sorry you had no power, but having a fireplace was nice! We only had about 5 inches so far, but we'll get tons more (and need it for the summer drought). Happy Holidays to you!!

Wow Holly! I love your puppys! Baxter sure seems to love the snow! I can't believe what a wicked storm that was! It's too bad about your trees, though. At least the puppys enjoyed it! I hope you had a Merry Christmas, Holly!
