only 8 more

8 more what?  8 more Sundays before Christmas - in fact the 8th Sunday will be Christmas day!  That is why I chose to make a Christmas card for the Paper Ala Mode challenge this week where the theme is Anything Goes.

Our sponsor is Beccy's Place and I chose this adorable snowman fence from her Snow Folk Set.  I love the different expressions on the snowmen's faces.  Of course I had to add a little snow and glitter!

Two cards to share

Hi everyone.  I wanted to share a couple of cards with you today.  The first one is one I made for a cousins birthday.  I used a flip it die to create the base - much easier than cutting and measuring!

Here's the inside of the card

Next up is the card I made for the Paper Ala Mode challenge where the theme is flowers.  Our sponsor is Star Stampz.  I used a cute fairy image called Cadence.  Not a ton of flowers, but she does have some in her hair, and I added one that I punched out of some balsa wood as an embellishment.

Thankful Fall Is Here

Here's a Fall card I made for a swap.  I did the leaves on Yupo paper with different alcohol re-inkers.  Then I stamped the leaves, embossed them with gold embossing powder and cut them out.  I used Stampin Up sets Fall Whimsy and Sincere Salutations.

77 days until Christmas!

Hi everyone.  This week Paper Ala Mode is getting into the Christmas spirit.  We are sponsored by Digi Stamps 4 Joy and Conie Fong Art.  If you are looking for some inspiration to jump start your Christmas cards then head over to our challenge and have a look!

I used a Conie Fong Art image called Joy To The World and created a fun shaker card.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up, and I finished it off with some red ribbon and a couple of snowflake buttons.  Thanks as always for looking!

Pumpkin Pickin' Time

Hi everyone!  The Paper Ala Mode challenge this week is to make Halloween Card or use Fall colors on your project.  The sponsor of the challenge is Dollar Graphics Depot.  I chose a couple of images from the Pumpkin Girls Combo Set and created a little scene of a girl who has just chosen the perfect pumpkin for her jack-o-lantern!

Here are a couple of really quick Halloween cards I made with some silhouette images from Bugaboo Stamps.   I used distress inks on glossy card stock for the background and then printed the images on top.

Come play with us!
